We love it here too and wanted to make a smoothie that tastes the same, but is also high in protein.

Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and blend it up before serving.

Of course, you can use any other frozen fruit like blueberries, strawberries, etc or replace the almond milk with soy, oat, cashew, whichever you prefer.

While a whole food plant-based is great for overall health & you can most certainly build muscle & strength, it can be difficult to consume enough calories if you don’t have a big appetite. It’s important to consume enough calories so you feel satisfied and maintain proper energy levels.

Just removing animal products from a typical American diet leaving mostly low-calorie foods such as salads, vegetables, and fruit could quickly leave you feeling hungry, weak and unsatisfied.

Adding smoothie can be an easy solution to this, as most find it easier to drink their calories & it’s easier to bulk up smoothies with nut, seeds, nut butter & similar calorie-dense foods. So if you are struggling, adding a smoothie each day might be a good option.
