Yesterday I made these Vegan Chocolate Chip Blondies using @traderjoes’ Blondie Bar Baking Mix ✨ Recipe below! ⁣⁣
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, many of TJ’s box mixes are accidentally vegan. So, I decided to make these because naturally I went to the store hungry that day, & they looked too good to pass up. I’m writing the recipe here because I’m most likely going to redo my website/blog soon 👀 So I’m staying away from using it while I decide what to do to it ⁣⁣
Ingredients: ⁣⁣
* 1 box of @traderjoes’ Blondie Bar Baking Mix 🍪 ⁣⁣
• 3 tbsp peanut butter 🥜 ⁣⁣
• 8 tbsp melted vegan butter (I used @earthbalance) 🧈 ⁣⁣
• Extra chocolate chips (maybe like 1/4 cup or depends on your preference) (I used @lilys_sweets chocolate chips) ⁣⁣
Instructions: ⁣⁣
• Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees ⁣⁣
• Put Blondie Bar mix package into a large bowl ⁣⁣
• Add the peanut butter ⁣⁣
• Melt vegan butter either on stove top or in microwave & then add to the bowl ⁣⁣
• Mix it until it becomes a dough ⁣⁣
• Optional: Add the extra chocolate chips into the dough & mix again ⁣⁣
• Line an 8×8 pan with a baking sheet/grease it so it doesn’t stick (I actually used a smaller pan but that’s my personal problem lmaoo) ⁣⁣
• Add the dough to the pan & smooth out to reach each side, filling the full pan with the dough ⁣⁣
• Put it in the oven for 23-25 minutes. Make sure you check up on it because if you leave it in for longer, it will get too crispy or burnt on the bottom ⁣⁣
• Remove from the oven, let cool, & cut into squares ⁣⁣
They’re perfect when they’re warm, they barely taste like peanut butter to be honest! Just a good old fashioned blondie 😊 I paired it with some @planetoat milk 💕
