What’s for dinner? How about Miso Glazed Mushrooms 🍄 over rice. Here’s a delicious way to cook and enjoy your mushrooms, by @veganshealthy_recipes 🌞
▪14 oz button mushrooms
▪1 medium onion, chopped
▪1/3 cup tamari
▪2 tsp miso paste
▪2 T apple cider vinegar
▪2 T maple syrup
▪2 T water
▪2 tsp cornstarch
How to Make It
▪ Boil the mushrooms in a saucepan until fully softened, which usually takes around 10 minutes.
▪Cook onion in a non-stick frying pan for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
▪Prepare the sauce in a bowl by stirring together the tamari, miso paste, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and water. Add the corn starch and stir into the sauce.
▪Drain and rinse the mushrooms. Add to the frying pan with the onion, stirring for a minute to reheat and brown.
▪Pour the sauce into the frying pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes over a medium heat, stirring, until the glaze thickens.
Serve over rice and enjoy!
