Weekends are for meal preps! Making and freezing these yummy flavourful lentil kebabs (made with masoor and chana dal). Try this simple recipe-

🌿1 cup masoor dal
🌿1/2 cup chana dal
🌿8-10 cloves of garlic
🌿1 inch piece of ginger
🌿2 medium sized onion
🌿Handful of fresh coriander
🌿2-3 tbsp of dry roasted besan (gram flour)
🌿2 tbsp kebab masala ( use can use any store bought kebab masala. I make my own- will share the recipe shortly)

🌿Boil both chana and masoor dal – add enough water to just cover the dal. We want a dry dal mixture. Once boiled, drain excess water if any and mash dal to make a coarse paste. Let it cool completely
🌿Finely chop ginger, garlic, onions, coriander and add to the dal mixture
🌿Add dry roasted besan and mix everything together using your hands.
🌿 Make kebabs with mixture and shallow fry to enjoy immediately or freeze for later
