I looooovvvvvveeee burgers. But let’s be honest, when you eat a burger, do you actually ever feel good afterwards? Assuming your answer was no, I have the perfect solution for you! Veggie Burgers! And not those weird ones that are like trying to be like meat but just taste like asshole. Not those. Those ones also have added ingredients that are NOT good for you. To name a few: Tertiary butylhydroquinone, Magnesium carbonate , Erythosine, Propylene glycol and Ferric orthophosphate. Yeah, I can’t pronounce them either. A tip that I try to follow the best that I can is: if you can’t pronounce half the ingredients, that shit should not be in your body. All these people who preach about counting calories, macros and being obsessive with only eating “ diet” foods, I think at least, are putting out the wrong message. Those “diet” foods, are so bad for you! All the prepackaged, frozen Weight Watchers and Lean Cuisine meals have so much shit added to them! Or all the protein powders everybody gushes over from places like GNC and the pre workout ( I knew a guy who ended up in the hospital with kidney poisoning from GNC amino acids supplements! ) are so bad for you, especially young teens who think that’s the only way to be healthy! I’m not saying protein supplements are bad per say, as I have them almost everyday, but do your research. While I think counting calories and macros is best for some people, it can be so dangerous for others. The healthy food is not the food with 144 ingredients, it’s the whole plant foods you find in the produce section! While I think having the ability to read and understand nutrition labels is important ( for some, not all ), I think it’s even more important to be able to read and be aware of the ingredients list.

Back to veggie burgers- my favorite brand is @bocaburger Veggie Burgers!! I love them and eat them all the time!

This dinner was super simple and quick, but so delicious and satisfying!
