Vegetarian teriyaki king oyster mushroom 🍄🍚🌱

simple yet satisfying meal, ready in 30 minutes.These mushrooms are great served with rice

Ingredients :
– king oyster mushroom
– light soy sauce
– Japanese sake
– water
– brown sugar

If don’t have Japanese sake can use maple syrup.

Method :
Slice king oyster mushroom into thick slices. Combine light soy sauce, Japanese sake, water and brown sugar in a bowl, mix well. Marinate the sliced mushrooms in sauce for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a fry pan, then pan fry the mushrooms until both sides turn golden brown.
Once the last batch of mushrooms is done, return all mushrooms to the pan, together with all the remaining marinade sauce in bowl. Lower the heat and continue to cook, until most of the liquid is reduced and mushrooms are coated in a thick teriyaki sauce. Remove from heat and serve over steamed rice.
