Vegan Protein Choc Cookies 🍪🍫💪⁠⁠

Ensuring to include plenty of high quality protein in your diet is important for a number of reasons. Protein is vital to maintain metabolic health, as well as the health of your organs, muscles, hair, nails, and skin. Protein is also what keeps you feeling fuller for longer, and is especially important in those of us who are more active or the elderly, as it prevents muscle wastage. 👍⁠⁠

Ingredients 👇⁠⁠
– 125g vegan protein powder⁠⁠
– 2 large bananas⁠⁠
– 1/2 cup oat flour⁠⁠
– 1/3 cup stevia⁠⁠
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder⁠⁠
– 1/3 cup natural peanut butter⁠⁠
– 1/3 cup vegan choc chips,⁠⁠
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract⁠⁠
– 1 teaspoon baking powder⁠⁠
– ½ tea spoon of salt⁠⁠

Instructions 👇⁠⁠
Preheat oven to 180 and line a tray with baking paper.⁠⁠
In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the vanilla, sweetener and peanut butter.⁠⁠
In a second bowl mix together the protein, cocoa, baking powder, salt and oat flour. ⁠⁠
Pour dry ingredients into wet, and stir to combine. Do not add water or any plant milk, just keep folding the dough until it starts to stick together. The dough will be very thick. Mix in the chocolate chips.⁠⁠
Put a sprinkling of oat flour onto hands to avoid sticking. Scoop up about 3 tablespoons of dough per cookie. Put dough into your palm and roll into a smooth ball. Gently hand flatten each cookie onto the lined tray, keeping them quite thick. ⁠⁠
Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the bottoms are golden. Allow cookies to cool completely before eating and enjoy!⁠ 😘
