VEGAN FRIED EGG ON TOAST🍳🍳🍳🍳

I’m sorry I’ve actually shocked myself – how’s much does this look like a fried egg?!! With a bit of kala namak (black salt) added it even tastes like egg too😋 here’s how I made it:

Ingredients:
– thin slice of tofu (I used @cauldronfoods as it’s quite big and flat)
– 2 tbsp water
– 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
– lunch of turmeric (for colour)
– 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
– pinch of kala namak (omit if you don’t like it!!)

Method:
1) cut the tofu into a round shape with a shaper (I used a measuring cup!). Then cut a whole in the middle (I used a shot glass lol)

2) mix together water, cornstarch, turmeric and nutritional yeast

3) fry your tofu on one side and then flip, fill the whole with your ‘yolk’ until thickened

4) serve as your heart desires (I put it on some avo toast and drowned it in sriracha🤤🥑🍞)
