VEGAN COMFORT FOOD CRUNCHWRAPS 🌱🌯 (Loose) Recipe below. Our usual go-to is a healthier Crunchwrap with black beans instead of vegan meat, as well as only vegetables & sauces added. However, we went the comfort food route with this one πŸ˜… ⁣
Ingredients: ⁣
β€’ 1 large tortilla ⁣
β€’ Small ripped off piece of another tortilla ⁣
β€’ 1/2 cup @gardein vegan beef crumbles ⁣
β€’ Brown rice: 1/2 package instant or 1/2 cup stovetop cooked rice ⁣
β€’ 1 slice (cut up) @goodplanetfoods vegan cheddar cheese ⁣
β€’ 2 tbsp pico ⁣
β€’ Homemade guac ⁣
β€’ @franksredhot ⁣
Instructions: ⁣
β€’ Sauté gardein crumbles on pan at medium heat for 5 minutes or until brown, season with paprika, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, your choice of spices ⁣
β€’ If microwaveable instant rice, put in microwave using box instructions. If stove cooked brown rice, boil water in a pot, put in 1/2 cup rice, lower heat to simmer for 45 minutes ⁣
β€’ Set up tortilla on a plate, add rice, then gardein crumbles, then veg cheese slices ⁣
β€’ Top with guac & pico ⁣
β€’ Put the small piece of tortilla on top of the guac (over everything), then wrap the tortilla flap by flap. Fold one side of the tortilla inwards, & do this around the whole tortilla until it is wrapped all the way around (very difficult to explain but you can check out my Crunchwrap highlight on my page πŸ˜‚) ⁣
β€’ Put on pan, cook on both sides until light brown/crispy ⁣
