Vegan cheezy sauce 🧀

This is a good one for pasta or roasted + baked potatoes. The spices + extra ingredients in this post are mostly to taste so add/remove ingredients as you like!

I n g r e d i e n t s: 2 cups raw cashews soaked overnight, 1 cup unsweetened + unflavored nut milk, 1 jalapeño (don’t skip this—promise it won’t be too spicy!), 3 cloves garlic, hot sauce, chives, crushed red pepper (optional), paprika, chili powder, turmeric powder, onion powder, a bit of soy sauce, a bit of hot sauce, a teeeeeny bit of liquid smoke, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, juice of half a lemon, Himalayan salt + pepper, + 1/3 cup nutritional yeast.

M e t h o d: add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth + creamy. Add spices + flavors to taste. Add more or less nut milk for a thinner or thicker consistency. I mixed this with some chickpea pasta + broccoli. 🥦🧀
