Vegan Carbonara ? by @lindahamiltonartwork This was so creamy and for a some time I couldn’t even tell it was vegan. I have had non vegan carbonara before and I remembered feeling really sick after but this carbonara was so light even with all the rich ingredients. I couldn’t get enough of it. You can’t taste the tofu at all, all you can taste is a creamy cheese mixture.I asked @lindahamiltonartwork for the recipe and she has kindly shared it. I would ? highly recommend you to try. Such an easy but delicious dinner idea!
1 box of silken tofu, 250g of spaghetti, 1 pack of bacon, 1/4 of the sheese cream cheese, 1 bunch of spring onion, a bulb of garlic, white pepper and black salt.
– Cook your spaghetti and set some pasta water aside.
– Combine the silken tofu and cream cheese.
– Fry the bacon and then the garlic and spring onions, then add the spaghetti. Pour in the cream cheese and tofu mixture, black salt and white peeper. As you stir it, add enough pasta water to thin it down. Toss it around for 1 minute and turn of the heat. Do not overlook it otherwise the tofu will become lumpy, you want the spaghetti to have a creamy consistency. -Serve it with some shaved cheese and truffle oil ?#vegan#veganfood#veganrecipe#vegandinner#vegandinnerideas#vegancarbonara#vegancheesesauce#dinnerideas#homemade#homecooking#dietitian#dietitiansofinstagram#dietitianeats#deliciousfood#nutritiousanddelicious#silkentofu
