?Unsweetened Oat Milk? recipe below?is great with cereal, in smoothies or baking recipes, in savory dishes as a dairy substitute, or just to drink on its own. Vegan, gluten-free, and SO creamy! ✌️
Oat milk is probably the most inexpensive plant milk you can make: all you need is 1 cup of oats (which costs pennies), some water, and a pinch of salt. Skip the store-bought, and try making your own ?

? Unsweetened Oat Milk?
Ingredients
1 cup old fashioned oats
4 cups water
Pinch of salt
1. Combine 1 cup oats, 4 cups water, and pinch of salt to a blender. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before blending.
2. Blend on high for 30 seconds. Immediately strain though a fine mesh strainer, cheese cloth, or a nut milk bag. Let it strain naturally, don’t push the mixture through the strainer as it could get mushy.
3. Use as a replacement for milk in recipes, or drink as is!
