Guys I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, smoothies and smoothie bowls are great ways of getting your vitamins and micros in πŸ’›πŸ™πŸ»β

Amidst this global pandemic it’s important to keep your immune system functioning at its absolute best πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ€© and this yummy smoothie has all the good stuff your body needs πŸ₯³β

All my ingredients come from #thebestinfresh foodlovers_lifestyle_randpark from fresh ginger to yummy oranges and all my vegan health alternatives like xylitol and coconut milk! ⁠

Recipe is as follows: ⁠

1 frozen banana ⁠
1/2 a pineapple ⁠
2 oranges ⁠
2 slices of FRESH ginger ⁠
500ml of any milk alternative (I used @milklabsouthafrica coconut milk, tastes like a pina colada 🀀) ⁠
10ml of honey or as a vegan substitute 2tsp of xylitol ⁠
1tsp cinnamon ⁠
2 tsp turmeric ⁠
15g raw almonds ⁠
1 tbsp chia seeds ⁠
⁠
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and well mixed! Make sure milk or milk alternative is cold to ensure a cold beverage otherwise blend some ice in for a thicker consistency. 😱πŸ₯Άβ
