Today we elevated our fresh tempeh dish with a special authentic turmeric blend paste from Rasaku. We marinated tempeh slices (200gr) with a few tsp of Rasaku paste, few tbsp of water, few tbsp of coconut milk and a tsp of salt before frying them in coconut oil. Absolutely delicious! We served our fried tempeh the traditional Indonesian way with warm steamed rice, sambal oelek and vegetables.

Rasaku is a special turmeric and spice blend, created by a renown Indonesian chef @pettyelliottskitchen, made with the freshest ingredients. It’ll give a depth of flavour with the aromatic South East Asian taste to any dish. Can’t wait to experiment more with this paste!
