This south indian delicacy has so many names.. ..
Paniyaram/ Paddu/ Guliyappa/ Yeriyappa/ Gundponglu/ Gunta Ponglu/ Tulu etc.

Usually served with tamatar chutney..but I like with Sambhar n coconut chutney ????

For the preparation of Paniyaram l, I have taken
2 cups of rice
1 cup of urad dal
Half tbsp of Fenugreek seed

Soaked these over night…n grinded together…. kept the batter in a warm place for 6 hours for fermentation…then added chopped onion, chillies, Tomato, curry leaves, pinch of asafoetida and salt as per the taste & mixed with the batter.
Heated the Paniyaram pan .. added few drops of oil..added the batter and covered the pan with lid…. turned the Paniyaram after 3-4 mins and heated for another 2-3 mins .n my Yummy Paniyarams were ready to eat?????
