This Grilled Oyster Mushroom Sandwich looks unbelievably delicious!
It is always a joy to return to all-vegan all-vegan @fermenter_pdx for more of their tasty and nourishing comfort food. The dishes they create from their skillfully selected ingredients are a treat for your taste buds and good for the rest of you too. You can also bring home their delicious tempeh, koji, kombucha, cheeses, and more that they make using local organic produce.

This is what we savored at home recently:
Grilled Oyster Mushroom Sandwich – smoky, meaty, melt-in-your-mouth marinated, grilled, and glazed oyster 🍄, celeriac jam, creamy herb sauce, and winter greens on a hoagie roll. Full of tantalizing, deep, and rich umami flavors, this was fantastic.
Root Vegetable Fritters – pan fried fritters with carrots, turnips, celeriac, leeks, kale, and apple. Served with a spicy carrot and pepper sauce. These whole food 🌱-based fritters were hearty and satisfying. (Gluten-free)
Persimmon Toast – toasted sourdough with olive oil, shallot herb hazelnut cheese, sliced fresh persimmon, tatsoi leaves, and 🐝-free “honey”, a reduction of their botanical kombucha, which is made with lemon verbena, rose, chamomile, and other herbs and flowers. This had a brilliant combination of ingredients that produced a pleasing mix of savory and sweet flavors.
