This green smoothie is a powerful anti-inflammatory ?  And the best part about it is that you can’t even taste the greens! 

Green smoothies not only provide healing benefits for people with inflammatory diseases like arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease, but they also provide relief from the symptoms ? 

I like breaking my fast in the morning with smoothies, because it provides me with a major boost of energy to get through the day.  

Remember: the food you eat feeds every cell of your body.?⁣⁠⠀

If you eat foods filled with refined and artificial ingredients, rancid fats, sugar, pesticides & herbicides, and other chemicals, your body will need to work hard to remove these toxins from your system.??⁣⁠⠀ 
⁣⁠⠀ 
If you feed your body the nutrients it needs to heal and regenerate, it has a better chance of responding favourably.??⁣⁠⠀ 

The question then becomes, can you make your next meal a meal that fights disease rather than feeds it??⁣⁠⠀ 

This green smoothie is one of my favs! Here’s the recipe:  
  
– 3 ripe bananas (frozen is best!)  
– 4 pitted medjool dates  
– 1 cup fresh or frozen mango  
– 2 cups packed spinach  
– 2 cups coconut water (can sub almond milk or just regular water)  
– optional: 2 tsp. nettle powder, 1 serving of hemp protein, 1 inch piece fresh ginger 
  
Blend and enjoy! ?
