STRAWBERRY BAKED OATMEAL 🍓
We bought a massive tray of strawberries the other day, so I’m throwing strawberries into any recipe possible! 🙊 And I’ve been really enjoying baked oatmeal lately, so I recreated the strawberry oatmeal from my ebook with a few tweaks! 😋 Swipe to see the melty goodness in action 😍➡️
To balance out the oatmeal being mainly carbs (absolutely nothing wrong with carbs, but fats and proteins are important too!), I added some of my favourite toppings that contain fats and proteins – dark choc chips, peanut butter and @hempfoodsaustralia hemp seeds! Hemp seeds are a powerhouse when it comes to nutrition – 30% protein and a great source of omega 3 + 6, iron and magnesium! 💪 They have a light nutty taste and can be used as toppings on soo many things! 🙌 You can use the code ‘PLANTBASEDKRYSTAL15’ for some 💰💰 off!
Here’s how I made my baked oatmeal 👇
Ingredients:
1 cup oats
150g strawberries
3 T desiccated coconut
2 T maple syrup
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 t baking powder
Toppings:
@hempfoodsaustralia hemp seeds
Dark chocolate chips
Peanut butter
Strawberries
Other ideas: banana, jam or coconut cream etc!
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180° fan forced.
2. Blend all ingredients except for toppings until smooth.
3. Lightly grease a ramekin and pour in the mix. Bake for 22-25 minutes.
4. Top with your choice of toppings and enjoy 🥳🙌
