SPICY GARLIC CH*CKEN & BROCCOLI [vegan, gf] ? You may not want to eat this on a first date but any other time is perfect!
•1 1/2 cups dry soy curls
•1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
•7 garlic cloves, minced
•2 green onions, sliced
•2 tbsp soy sauce
•2 tbsp maple syrup
•1/2 cup water
•1 tbsp rice vinegar
•2 red chili flakes
•1/2 tbsp corn starch
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add broccoli florets and cook for 5-7 minutes. You still want a slight crunch.
2. Add the soy curls to a bowl and cover with hot water. Let sit for 10 minutes then drain and set aside.
3. In a separate bowl add all the sauce ingredients and mix.
4. Heat a pan on medium with olive oil. Add the soy curls and cook until lightly browned. Add in the broccoli and pour over the sauce. Cook and stir to heat through and let the sauce thicken slightly.
