SMOKEY BAKED BEANS-Tinned baked beans tend to contain a certain amount of added sugar and salt and nothing beats a bowl of home made baked beans with lots of flavour! Using @mr_organic delicious range
Pulses contain fibre, iron and rich in plant based protein. Tinned pulses are also cheap and so versatile to add into any dish!
✅1 tin of cannellini beans washed & drained
✅1/4-1/2 carton of passata
✅1 onion chopped
✅1 tsp paprika
✅1 tsp pomegranate molasses-optional
✅1 tsp balsamic vinegar
✅1 tsp madras curry powder
✅Drizzle some olive oil in a pan, fry the onions and add the passata along with the vinegar, curry powder, molasses and paprika and simmer for about 20 minutes until the sharp taste of tomatoe has reduced.
✅Add the beans and mix well, season with a little salt and pepper, add a splash of water and simmer for another 10 minutes.
✅Top with some avocado and serve on some toast!
