Scrumptious lentil soup/dal with vegetables

Ingredients
-Red lentils
-Onion πŸ§…
-Tomato πŸ…
-Green chilli 🌢
-Carrots
-Celery
-Butternut squash
-Radish

Method:
Slow cook all of the above for about 30 minutes or use a pressure cooker for 5 minutes

Once cooked, top with a tempering which is the secret to bring out the fusion of tastes and takes the fish to the next level of awesomeness

Tempering
-heat coconut oil (or any oil)
-Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and once all these pop add sliced garlic and once slightly brown add to the dal.

-You can also add red chilli powder, corriander powder and turmeric to make it authentic Indian.

*****Note: If you don’t have any of these spices just add a tempering of garlic and there you have a yummy dish

Garnish with fresh corriander leaves
