🍪🍫🌾{RECIPE} CHOCOLATE OAT COOKIES

You asked, I share 😘 The best cookies ever🍪

INGREDIENTS:
🔹80g olive oil
🔹125g orange (or apple) puree
🔹1 tsp vanilla extract
🔹180g oat flour
🔹100g panela (or coconut sugar)
🔹40g cocoa powder
🔹1/3 tsp salt
🔹1 tsp baking powder
🔹Chopped dark chocolate

IMPORTANT:
📍You’ll need an apple puree made of baked apples, not fresh! It will be a binding agent for the dough instead of the normal egg. You may bake apples yourself for the puree, or use the baby food puree (without sugar). A great recipe of an orange puree can be found in my blog by #aws_recipes.

📍The orange puree will intensify the taste and make, it a little tangier!

📍Oat flour is the best when made at home – you simply need to grind the oats in a coffee grinder. Unfortunately, oat flour from a grocery store will become rancid very quickly after opening, and your cookies may taste bitter.

📍I prefer to use olive rather than coconut oil in my recipes. Cookies will be softer that way.

📍The quality of cocoa powder matters, so choose a good one! The taste and color of cookies will depend on it!

INSTRUCTIONS:

🔹Whisk all the liquid ingredients together, so that olive oil will emulsify with the fruit puree.

🔹Mix all the dry ingredients in the separate bowl.

🔹Combine the mixtures from both bowls, add chopped chocolate, and knead the dough. It will be too soft for rolling out, so I usually pinch a small piece from the dough ball, and form a cookie when it’s already on the baking tray. Don’t forget to line the tray with a baking paper.

🔹Bake for around 10-15 min at 360 F until ready
