QUINOA & BLACK BEAN BURGER ๐Ÿ”

I love burgers, and these spicy vegan quinoa and black bean burger patties are my go-tos! Theyโ€™re full of flavour, packed with protein, and always a winner when I serve them to friends and family. I served them with sriracha mayo, ketchup, cheese, roasted onions, lettuce, tomato and cucumber (and sweet potato fries and coleslaw on the side) but you can use whatever you like best!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp Chili
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup quinoa
1 tin black beans
Salt pepper
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 red Bell pepper
1/4 cup bread crumbs

METHOD
1๏ธโƒฃ Cook the quinoa according to package instructions. Drain and rinse the beans and mash them in a large mixing bowl.
2๏ธโƒฃ Add the cooked quinoa and the rest of the ingredients to the beans and mix well. Form 4 patties with your hands and fry in oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
3๏ธโƒฃ Add your favourite burger toppings and enjoy!
