I’m sharing a great Friday recipe, crispy Halloumi fries. It’s so delicious and really easy to make!

I couldn’t decide on my toppings so I made two; a bbq honey and a chilli fresh gremolata. I love to use semolina for a crispier coating and a warm centre. You definitely need to try it this way.

Ingredients:
– 2x 225g blocks of halloumi cheese, cut into 2cm chips
-2 tbsp of cornflour and flour.
-2 tbsp of fine semolina.
-1 tsp smoked paprika.
-1 tsp sriracha.
-1/2 tsp of: garlic herbs, pepper.
-1 tsp of chipotle barbacoa for the honey bbq sauce @skinnyfoodco
2 – 4 tbsp olive oil depending on the size of your pan.

Method:
-Cut the halloumi into chips of roughly 2cm thickness.
-Mix the spices into the flour.
-Dip the halloumi fries into the flour, make sure they are well coated.
-Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over a medium to high heat.
-Add the fries, cook for about 2 minutes on each side. Cook the fries in batches.

❀️ Serve immediately and enjoy. Give this a double tap and save ❀️
