If you saw my story today you know that I made homemade pecan butter and it’s honestly the ? ? ⁣
I am trying to expand my nut butter expertises by trying new flavors and I so wish I would of made pecan butter a lot sooner! Not only is it cheaper but more delicious! Another recipe to make this weekend or right now! ?⁣

Recipe: ⁣
Base ⁣
-200g dates (soaked in warm water to soften) ⁣
-6 tbsp pecans ⁣
-2 tbsp coconut oil ⁣
-Pinch of salt ⁣
-1 tbsp vanilla extract ⁣
-1/4 cup coconut flour ⁣

Pecan filling: ⁣
-12 tbsp pecan butter ⁣
-6 tbsp coconut oil⁣
-2 tbsp maple syrup ⁣
-Pinch of salt ⁣
-1 tbsp coffee powder ⁣
-Pinch of salt ⁣
-3 tbsp double chocolate ⁣

(If you don’t have the chill choc powder feel free to replace with cacao powder ?) ⁣

Chocolate base: ⁣
-150g dark chocolate ⁣
-2 tbsp coconut oil ⁣

Instructions: ⁣

-Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
-In a food processor add all your base layer ingredients and blend until you have a dough like texture. Press the dough into the baking pan. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
-Freeze for 10-15 minutes⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
-In the meantime in a food processor (which is easier or just mix in a large bowl) ⁣⁣⁣add all your ingredients from the pecan filling and mix well and top it on top of your base and place in the refrigerator for 30-60 mins. ⁣
-Once firm top your filling with the dark chocolate layer, by melting the chocolate with the coconut oil and top with crushed pecans. ⁣
-Place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours until set or overnight! ⁣
-Slice into square slices. Keep stored in refrigerator. Enjoy! ?⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
