Lazy Sunday done right with this delicious homemade Pav Bhaji.
Garama garam butter laden pav with spicy bhaji in this weather was just perfect for a meal.
And if it’s made at home then you can bindass indulge 😉. As it’s easy to make and healthy too.
1 cup green peas
4 green chillies
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp pav bhaji masala
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
Salt as per taste
Butter and oil as per taste
Peel and dice potatoes, carrots, beetroot and cauliflower. Boil them or pressure cook for 2 whistle.
Heat the pan with 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter.
Add green chillies, ginger garlic paste, onions, capsicum, tomatoes and cook them well.
Now add the masalas and let it fry with the tomato and onion mixture for a while.
Add your boiled veggies and green peas in the above mixture and let it cook slowly.
Mash the veggies smoothly and let it slow cook for another 5 – 10 min.
Garnish this with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve this with some butter fried pav and don’t forget to add finely chopped onion, lemon,coriander leaves and a dallop of butter on the bhaji (it’s incomplete without this).
