One Pot Mushroom Stroganoff Oatmeal 🍄 Yeay to another savory oats! Just created this recipe yesterday, because I got plenty of mushrooms & needed to use them before they went bad 😂 This savory oatmeal is hearty, delicious & oh so creamy! Instead of doing the normal mushroom stroganoff that eaten with rice, mashed potato or pasta, I’m taking this to a lazy, easy & cheap cooking with oatmeal.
This recipe is so simple & you can whip this warm dish anytime. I don’t have onion on hand so I used dried minced onions. Seriously guys, dried minced onions are the hero, saviour of the day when you are lazy to chop onions or don’t have them. They last longer & truly a great condiment addition to your spice collection. Highly recommended to have this ‘crack’ on your rack. Enjoy! 😋
4tbsp rolled oats
2 handful of champignon mushrooms, sliced
2 small cloves of garlic or 1 big clove of garlic, finely minced
1/2tsp dried minced onion or sub with 2tsp of minced onion
8tbsp unsweetened soymilk
1/4tsp apple cider vinegar
Salt & pepper, to taste
1. Put all ingredients in the saucepan & cook in medium high heat until thicken or mushrooms are cooked thoroughly.
2. After thicken, transfer into a serving bowl.
3. Serve warm & enjoy! 😋
