Happy Weekend! Berries and cherries have come into season here in Melbourne! What better way to start the weekend than a full platter of fresh fruit and crispy golden waffles!😊

Recipe for two (4 small waffles)

Ingredients:
(Dry)
50g brown rice flour*
50g gluten-free oat flour*
20g tapioca starch*
(*If you prefer regular waffles, omit rice flour, oat flour, and tapioca starch and instead use 120g spelt flour or plain flour.)
1 tsp aluminium-free baking powder 
Pinch of salt

(Wet)
1/2 cup (120ml, about 120g) yogurt of choice 
2 Tbsp. milk of choice**
(**If you use spelt flour or plain flour, add 2 more Tbsp. milk)
2 Tbsp. maple syrup or liquid sweetener 
2 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp.=15ml

(Method)
In a bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients. Add all the wet ingredients and mix well. Cook waffles in a hot and greased waffle iron until golden and crispy.
