ℑ??????????:
Split chickpeas/Bengal gram/Channa dal (1cup)
Chopped Onion ( 1 medium)
Chopped green chillies (1-2)
Chopped coriander (2tbsp)
Chopped curry leaves (1tbsp)
Turmeric powder (1pinch)
Garam masala powder (1pinch)
Red chilli powder (¼ tsp)
Cumin seeds/ jeera (¼ tsp)
Fennel seeds/ saunf (¼ tsp)
Salt .
??????:
• soak channa dal in water for 2-4 hrs • coarse grind the dal • remove the dal in a large bowl
• add all the remaining ingredients (onion,green chillies, coriander, curry leaves, tumeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, salt) and mix well
• Then take 1-2 tbsp of dal mixture, shape it like a ball then flatten it gently to shape it like vada…
• deep fry on medium flame until it turns crispy and golden brown
•serve hot with tea or coffee…
•enjoy!

Tips:
•if your mixture doesn’t bind well, add 1tbsp of besan/gram flour to the mixture
•if the oil is not hot enough you vada will start to break and if the oil is too hot you vadas will be brown on outside and raw inside…do always fry the vadas on medium flame
