1 large avocado โฃ
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, packedโฃ
1 large clove garlicโฃ
1/3 cup raw cashewsโฃ
juice of half a large lemon โฃ
1/2 tsp saltโฃ
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper, or to tasteโฃ
2 Tbsp nutritional yeastโฃ
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oilโฃ

16 oz pasta of choice (use GF if needed)โฃ

Prepare pasta according to packageโs directions. โฃ

Meanwhile, add the rest of the ingredients into a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy. Add the pesto to the cooked and drained pasta. Stir until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add more salt, pepper, nutritional yeast, and/or lemon juice if needed. Serve and enjoy!
