1 large avocado โฃ
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, packedโฃ
1 large clove garlicโฃ
1/3 cup raw cashewsโฃ
juice of half a large lemon โฃ
1/2 tsp saltโฃ
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper, or to tasteโฃ
2 Tbsp nutritional yeastโฃ
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oilโฃ
3 Tbsp water โฃ
16 oz pasta of choice (use GF if needed)โฃ

Prepare pasta according to packageโ€™s directions. โฃ

Meanwhile, add the rest of the ingredients into a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy. Add the pesto to the cooked and drained pasta. Stir until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings. Add more salt, pepper, nutritional yeast, and/or lemon juice if needed. Serve and enjoy!
