My smoothie essentials ???

I usually add more, but I always include these basics ??
.
Banana ? – I use this as a base. Makes the smoothie super creamy and is a good source of glucose and fiber.
.
Berries? – for antioxidants and some more fiber.
.
Protein powder??- I typically use @theaimcompanies pea protein because it tastes amazing, has minimal added ingredients and is sugar free.
.
Greens?- if I have baby spinach, I’ll add a handful or two. But I also always add some Barley Life green powder for extra antioxidants!

Redibeets ?- I add this beetroot powder, not only for more antioxidants (see a theme here? ?) but also because the nitric oxide causes dilation of blood vessels, which helps to lower blood pressure and improves blood flow to all areas of the body, especially the muscles. This can help with athletic performance when taken about half an hour before activity.
