My Perfectly Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies can now have the almond flour swapped out with oat flour to be nut free?
They are extremely chewy with a soft crunch on the outside, and rich melty chocolate chips throughout?
1 flax egg (or regular egg)
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
3 tbsp almond butter (other nut or seed *for nut free* butters work too, I love the @kweenandco granola butters for nut free!)
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup blanched almond flour (can sub 1 cup gf oat flour/ 1 cup blended gf oats)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp coconut flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 F and prepare a baking sheet, set aside
2. In a large bowl, mix together your flax egg, coconut oil, almond butter, coconut sugar, and vanilla extract
3. Next, stir in your almond flour, salt, baking soda, and coconut flour. Once combined, add in your chocolate chips
4. Roll the dough into balls and give them a light tap on top, bake them in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes, remove from the baking sheet, and enjoy!
This recipe is also up on my blog, which you can check when I try out more subs, and for many other delicious healthy recipes!
The oat flour swapped in these doesn’t technically make them paleo, but if you’re looking for some nut free + strictly paleo chocolate chip cookies, check out my blog (link in bio) for my Coconut Flour CC Cookies!!
