My attempt at vegan “hamburger helper” πŸ˜†

A friend suggested I try the Beyond Burger. Since my store only had the small pieces, I made the following. Not too bad. But to be honest, I’m not a big fan of many fake meat products, and this one didn’t impress me much either. But it was convenient and could be a good option for folks making the switch to plant based.
Sorry, I don’t have exact measurements this time. But I think you get the idea. DM me if you have questions.

“Hamburger Helper”style pasta

✳️ Whole food pasta (I used red lentil pasta)
✳️ Tomato paste (or sauce)
✳️ Beyond Burger (or tofu :))
✳️ Paprika powder
✳️ Garlic powder
✳️ Onion powder
✳️ Nutritional yeast
✳️ Salt
✳️ Olive oil
✳️ Honey or agave to taste

**** Boil the pasta in salted water. Drain and set aside. Add tomato paste and a little water (or tomato sauce), and Beyond Burger to pan. Season with other ingredients. Lots of garlic, onion, and paprika are key. When flavored to your liking, add the pasta back in. Adjust seasoning.
