MUSHROOM TAWA MASALA
A delicious recipe of button mushrooms cooked in a spiced onion and tomato based gravy. Food cooked in a Tawa always taste different compared to the food cooked in a kadai or handi. As the veggies cook faster in a tawa, there is an added caramelized flavour to the food which is liked by many. Check out my recipe and let me know😁
400 g button mushroom
1 Large onion finely chopped
1 medium Bell Peppers finely chopped
2 medium tomato finely chopped
2 green chilli finely chopped
2 Tbsp Butter
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red chilli powder
2 tsp pav bhaji masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1tsp grated ginger
1)Heat Butter in a thick bottom pan or Tawa.
2)Add chopped Onion, grated ginger and chopped green chilli in the pan and saute on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
3)Add chopped capsicum and suate for 2-3minutes.
4)Add Tomatoes and salt cook for 4-5 minutes and mash with a potato masher.
5)Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, pao bhaji masala and saute for few minutes, till baby corn becomes tender. Add 2-3 tbsp of water in between as and when required to keep the masala wet.
6)Add chopped and cleaned mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes over high heat while stirring them all the time.
7)Serve it hot and garnish with fresh coriander leaves and lemon juice.
