Morning lovelies💗 I had one of my favourite breakfasts this morning, overnight oats is what I have most days and never seem to get bored of😋 today’s was flavoured with vanilla fuel blend protein powder by @myvegan and little bit of cocoa powder for that extra bit of yumminess (that’s not a word apparently but it is now 😂)
•1/2 cup porridge oats.
•1/2 cup almond milk. (If extra fluid is needed, add a splash of cold water)
• 1 tbsp flax seed.
• Vanilla Fuel Blend Protein powder.
• 1 tsp cocoa powder.
I thought I’d show you guys this to remind you that it’s okay to add different things into your breakfasts. When my attitude to food really wasn’t good I would very rarely (I’d at all) have anything that contained chocolate in the mornings as it was seen as “not allowed” in my thoughts, but by adding it into something like my porridge or oats made it seem less daunting in the beginning because it was part of a breakfast type that was considered ‘healthy’ in my mind. Gradually now I’m trying different sweet breakfasts as I have become a little more relaxed at the concept and I’m enjoying being able to treat myself when I would like to☺️
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who felt/feels like this but if you do and are still struggling with those pesky thoughts, try little things that feel a bit less scary first by fortifying what you are eating currently with something that you’ve been avoiding and gradually you’ll start feeling freedom around what you eat more and more 💗
