Moong Dal and Brown Rice Dosa

Ingredients
• Moong Chilka Dal 1 Cup
• Brown Rice 1/2 Cup
• Ginger 1 inch (optional)
• Cumin Powder 1/2 tbs
• Salt to taste
• Oil as required

1. Soak dal and rice for 5-6 hours.
2. Grind the soaked grains into a fine paste adding little water a time. The consistency should not be very thick nor very flowing.
3. If you want you can grind ginger as well, but it is optional.
4. Add salt and cumin powder and mix well.
5. Keep the batter to rest overnight in the refrigerator to ferment well.
6. Your dosa batter is ready. You can even make Uttapa or Idli out of it.
Serve it with your favourite chutney or sambhar or both.
