Love this adaptogen ashwaghanda +coconut oil +dates+gram (chickpea)flour sweet treat!! (Full recipe below )

The original @miramanek delicious recipe has literally just 3 ingredients (gram flour/pitted dates , coconut oil )
but
I added ashwaghanda for two reasons:
1. I add it to everything … 🌿as ashwagandha is an adptogen and wonderful remedy used to protect the immune system, combat stress, improve memory ,concentration, reduce anxiety, stabilize blood sugar and lower cholesterol.
2. to make it “guilt free and good for me” 😉 !

I also replace some of the pitted dates with dates nectar to better incorporate the ashwaghanda powder. All sprinkled with roses of course!

Recipe :
80g coconut oil
100g chickpea flour
50gr pitted dates +1 1/2 tablespoon Date Nectar
2 tablespoons Ashwaghanda

Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan, pour in the chickpea flour and cook for 10 min, stirring continuously on a low heat (it burns really fast don’t leave it unattended).

In then meanwhile on the side mix ashwaghanda and date nectar.

warm the pitted dates and then add all ingredients to the flour and coconut oil mixture.

stir until all is perfectly smooth and poor in a baking tray (20 cm x 20 cm) .
sprinkle with Rose petals (or any other flower or nuts if You prefer).

Let it cool down and keep it in the fridge !
