1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of cardamom (optional)
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp cashew butter (optional)
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 tsp lemon juice
In a container or jar mix together your oats, chia seeds, spices, salt, cashew butter, milk and remaining maple syrup. Give a good mix.
The morning you enjoy, heat up your blueberries with 1 tsp maple syrup and a pinch of salt (I just did this in the microwave). Once melted, give a good mix along with the lemon juice and top your oats with it. If you have any plant based yogurt you can also layer your oats with yogurt and the warm berries. Super yummy and good amount of nutrition.
Toppings include cashew butter, blackberries, hemp hearts and cacao nibs but dress it up however you like
