Looking for a break from meat for one night? Try this delicious #vegetarian recipe!

Maple Soy Tofu Steaks with Broccoli and Rice

2 blocks of firm tofu

Whisk the following ingredients together to make the marinade:

3/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp. hot sauce
Pinch of pepper
1 Tbs. sesame oil

Drain the tofu, pat it dry, and cut it into rectangles. Score the tofu rectangles to let them absorb more of the marinade.

Place the tofu in half the marinade for about 20 minutes.

Bake the tofu on a greased baking dish at 400F for about 40 minutes, basting (brushing) it with the rest of the marinade every 10 minutes or so.

Serve with rice and broccoli, topped with the remaining sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds (optional).
