It’s that time of the year when I’m really excited, Y-A-Y, it’s Veganuary and I’m so thrilled and happy to see so many local organisations supporting, promoting and spreading awareness about veganism. What a great time to be vegan!
Try going vegan for a month, experience how good you feel, see how your energy levels increase, reduce carbon footprint, live kindly… join the worldwide campaign!
Every vegan meal is a win for the animals, the planet and you!

Here I’m sharing an extremely easy and delicious recipe I received from my elder son’s classmate’s mother 15 years ago. And it’s a hit every single time! Thank you Maike!
Vegan 7 Layer Dip Recipe
🌈Refried beans 1 can, in a bowl mix well with a little vegan fresh cream
🌈Salsa 1 jar
🌈Avocados 2, mash and add in salt, pepper and lime juice
🌈Vegan Sour cream or homemade cashew cream mixed with apple cider vinegar- mix well with 1 small sachet of vegan taco seasoning mix
🌈Black and green olives,
Spring onions, chopped
🌈Grated vegan cheddar cheese
🌈Vegan Taco seasoning mix
🌈Lime or lemon juice
In a glass serving dish, assemble the layers as follows:
Layer 1: Refried beans
Layer 2: Salsa
Layer 3: Guacamole
Layer 4: Vegan sour cream mix
Layer 5: Vegan cheddar cheese
Layer 6: Spring onions and tomatoes
Layer 7: Olives and corn
Pair with your favourite tortilla chips and you’ll be in 7th heaven!
