It’s time for our weekly authentic recipe! Today, I have for you (baba ghanouj). 😋 #homecookcity

Ingredients:

Grilled, peeled, and mashed eggplant
3 tbsp of Tahini
3 tbsp of lemon juice
1 tsp of minced garlic
4 tbsp of vinegar
1/2 grilled onion (or you can replace it with onion powder)
1 grilled jalapeno ( you can disregard it if you don’t want it spicy)
Salt, black pepper, and cumin to taste.
2 tbsp of olive oil

Recipe:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in the blender until you get creamy. ( you may need to add 1 or 2 tbsp of water if you find it too thick , depending on Tahini kind).
2. Pour the mix in a bowl and add some olive oil as topping. I garnished it also with some cooked hummus (chickpeas). It tasted so good.
3. Enjoy it as appetizer and dipping with some bread.😍
