If you had to pick one food to be your love language, what it would be? AND GO!
Mine is pasta all the way. I grew up on italian food and it reminds me of family. Pasta is also so versatile and so tasty, let’s be honest.
Thanks to @sognotoscano I was challenged to make a pasta dish using ingredients they sent. I have not cooked and eaten REAL pasta in a long time. I typically stick to gluten free or chickpea pasta. Making this pasta yesterday reminded me of happiness. Yes I know, talking happiness again. But it’s true! It brought me back to childhood, a time where intuitive eating was done ALL the time. I often wonder why intuitive eating is so hard to get back to if we did it as kids and lived a happy life. Why are we so hard on ourselves? It’s something I will never understand. BUT, this pasta dish is something I should give my body because a balanced life is important, and that I will understand even when that eating disorder voice says ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Bell Pepper Bruschetta Pasta
1 Pound of Spaghetti Chitarra, cooked
Green Bell Pepper, diced
Sun dried Tomatoes, diced
— dressing —
1/4 C of Olive Oil
1/4 C of Balsamic Glaze
1 Tbsp of Garlic
2 Tbsps of Italian Seasoning
Cook the pasta. Chop all of your veggies to add in. Mix the ingredients for the dressing. Pour over the pasta and mix it all together. Top it with @kitehillfoods ricotta cheese and taadaaa 😘
