If you can’t be bothered to spend any time preparing breakfast in the morning and you want to wake up with an instant breakfast already made ready to go, then OVERNIGHT OATS are going to be your best friend 😛 The consistency is like a porridge or pudding. It makes for an easy convenient breakfast that has a more dense and creamy texture than warm oatmeal. They’re one of the easiest way to use up old nut butter jars too, plus you can carry the jar with you on the go making it an easy meal to carry around. 👍

HOW TO MAKE: I like going for a ratio of 1:2 (1/2 cup oats : 1 cup plant milk) with 1 tbsp of chia seeds for extra healthy fats and to help things thicken up a little. You can then add any other ingredients into the mix to add flavour like cacao powder, peanut butter, protein powder, etc. All you gotta do is add all the ingredients in a jar or bowl, give it a mix, then place in the fridge and leave it overnight. 😴 The soaking process allows the oats to absorb the liquid and soften them up enough to eat without cooking. By the morning, you’ll have a ready to eat bowl or jar of delicious oats. Not going to lie, this is lazy yet wholesome food at it’s finest! 🙌🤣
