How to make Cholar dal / lentils / chickpeas with vegetables in bangladeshi style :
1/2 onion
1 cup cholar dal ( chickpeas)
Vegetables (4/5 types)
Oil -2 tbsp
Salt to taste –
Bay leaf -1
Turmeric powder -1 tbsp
Chili powder -1 tsp
Cumin powder -1 tbsp
Green chilli -4 pcs
Garlic 1 tbsp
First heat the oil . Then add chopped onion , green chillies, garlic and bay leaf. Fry for 2 mins . After that add all the vegetables ( here i have used tomatoes, green beans, pumpkin, potatoes , cauliflower, soft beans and egg plant). You can use any vegetables. Add soaked chickpeas / lentils / cholar dal. Put all the spices . Now mix it well . Add water if you want. Cover & cook for 10 to 15 mins.
