Homemade Ram ladoo ☺️

Classic Street food from Delhi. It has nothing to do with Lord Ram , No it was not his favourite 😆, It is neither sweet nor cooked in ghee.

Phir , it is salty ,served with green and red chutneys. You will find people selling Ram Ladoos in Sarojini Nagar market, Lajpat Nagar Central market, Rajouri and cannaught place ( mene to yahin khaya h😐).

Ingredients-

Moong dal – 125 grams.
Chana dal – 50 grams
Cooking Soda – a pinch
Salt – jinta jhel sako
Ginger – pea size
Green Chilles – 3/4
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tspoon
Oil – to fry

Soak dal overnight, blend to make a fine paste, add ginger, Chilles, cumin seeds & salt. Add soda and mix properly to get a smooth texture ☺️
Make small balls and fry on medium flame.

Serve with chutneys and radish.
