Homemade pumpkin pie for Samhain, check. 🎃🖤🧡
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon coconut sugar
½ cup + 1 tablespoon of olive oil butter
¼ cup full fat coconut milk (or slowly add more if needed)
Preheat the oven 450.
Add all the ingredients in bowl
Fully mix together, put flour on a clean surface and knead the dough for a couple minutes.
Then I spread out flat and transfer into a buttered pie dish.
Put in oven for about 10 minutes.
Once down, set oven to 350 for filling.
1 can of pumpkin 1 cup full fat coconut milk 1 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon ginger 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon cloves 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons cornstarch
Basically mix well in a bowl.
Then pour into pie pan
Then let cook for 45-60 minutes. (Check occasionally to make sure crust doesn’t burn.)
Let sit around a few hours. (I make it the night before) then ENJOY.
