I don’t think this needs any introduction 🤗

Ingredients

⏺ Raw Nendran Banana
⏺ Salt
⏺ Turmeric powder
⏺ Coconut Oil for deep frying ( any other oil would do… But authentic banana chips are always made in coconut oil)
.
.
.
.
Steps
1. Cut both ends of the banana and peel the banana.
2. Soak the bananas in turmeric water for 1-2 hours. This will remove the stain from the banana, and it won’t turn black. Make sure you clean the banana thoroughly.
3. Dry off the banana with a clean cloth. Make sure it’s not damp.
4. After half an hour, slice the banana in equal size. Slice it as thin as you can.
5. In a cloth, separate the slices and put it aside for 10 mins. This is done so that the moisture goes off completely and also so that the pieces dont stick to each other
6. Take a Kadai and heat oil in high flame.
7. Add the cuts to the oil and turn the love to medium. And keep turning the pieces in oil.
8. Meanwhile, take salt in a little water and keep aside
9. Take a tester slice once the slices turn yellow. If it is crispy, add two spoons of the saltwater.
10. Once the bubbles reduce, take one more tester slice to check if it is crispy.
11. Take out the slices before it turns brown.
