-home made (healthy) Ramen!
3 TBS toasted sesame oil
1/2 yellow onion
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 C mushrooms quartered
2 cloves of garlic, fine chopped
1/2 head of broccoli, in small florets
Spices: ginger, basil, red pepper flakes, cumin, Cardamom, Black pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, pepper pepper flakes, cilantro, turmeric.
Add noodles: I used wonder shirakati noodles
Heat pot with sesame oil. Add carrots and onions and sauté for about three minutes. Add all other vegetables and sauté for another 10 minutes on medium high heat. While veggies are sautéing, drain noodles and rinse. Add noodles and broth (I made my own) and let veggies and noodles cook in broth for about 10 minutes.
Garnish with Thai Basil!
For the perfect soft boiled egg:
Boil water, slowly add eggs(so they don’t crack) boil for exactly 7 minutes 30 seconds. Immediately drop eggs into an ice bath. Once they cool, peel.
