Here to show you that ripe bananas doesn’t always mean banana bread. I used my bananas for these CHOCOLATE PRETZEL BROWNIES 🥨 These just happen to be vegan and gluten free (if using gf pretzels).

Ingredients:
•2 tbsp flax seed meal
•5 tbsp water
•2 ripe bananas, mashed
•1/3 cup maple syrup
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•1 cup almond flour
•1/3 cup cacao powder
•1 1/2 tsp baking powder
•1/4 tsp salt
•1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
•1/3 cup crushed pretzels
•11 full pretzels

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8×8 pan with cooking spray.
2. In a small bowl, stir the flax seed meal and water together. Let sit for 5 minutes.
3. In a bowl whisk together the banana, maple syrup, flax seed mixture, and vanilla. Stir in the almond flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt.
4. Fold in the chocolate a pretzel pieces. Pour into the pan. Press the full pretzel pieces into the top of the batter. Bake for 30 minutes. Let sit for 20 minutes in the pan before cutting. It’s important to cool completely because they are fudgy!
