Cocoa quinoa breakfast bowl

Cook quinoa as usual with a cup of plant milk and coconut milk. Stir bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cook for 20-25 minutes, uncovered, stirring regularly. You’re looking for a slight simmer during cooking.

Once liquid is absorbed, remove from heat, add 2 Tbsp of cocoa powder or less, mix in 2-3 Tbsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp vanilla, a dash of salt.

Mix well, add more milk or ingredients to complement your taste buds.

Top with dark chocolate ? pieces, some nuts and berries ??

Truthfully I found this a bit to chocolaty and sweet. So add ingredients in smaller portions until you get the flavor you like ?
